Last weekend we had our first baby shower for Baby D2!! Wow, are we so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. We received so many wonderful gifts. Baby D2 is already so spoiled!!! Thank you to my Mother in law and Aunt in law for throwing such a beautiful shower!!! Here are a few pictures from our wonderful day:
Scott, Me and Baby D2 at almost 34 weeks
Yummy cake from Sue!!! Delicious Creations!
Gorgeous hand sewn blanket! Thank you Maggie!
We had our 34 week ultrasound on Tuesday and it went great!! Baby currently weighs 5 pounds and 3 ounces! Keep growing little guy! He is head down and pretty low so we were not able to get a good profile shot of him. But he looked great on the ultrasound machine. Doc did a thorough check on his organs, placenta, fluid and measurements. He is measuring in the 47th percentile!! I'm one proud mama. Keep watching over your little brother Savannah!! Oh, and scheduled c section is officially set for Tuesday December 3rd!! 4 weeks from this Tuesday. Holy Moly!!!
The nursery is all ready!!! We hung up all the wall hangings, including his name (which is still a secret) and just waiting to fill it with more stuff from shower #2 this weekend!!! I'm having so much fun organizing all of his stuff and getting the house all ready for him. I've even gotten in the Christmas spirit (WAYYY earlier this year then ever for me) because this year will be so special. I'm always dreaming of all our memories we will have with our rainbow! I decided to take some pictures of the nursery today with our fancy camera. Little obsessed you ask?? Maybe = )
Basket o' stuffed animals!
And of course Theodore the GIANT teddy bear. He is actually Savannah's but she's letting her little brother have him!
Sweet Savannah Knits has been a little slow lately with requests. If anyone knows or has a baby in the NICU please request a gift!!! I've been looking into ways I can use some of the generous donations to donate toys or anything needed for the NICU babies this Christmas. Unfortunately I won't be able to make many Christmas hats this year since the baby will be taking up most of my time for awhile. I still wanted to be sure SSK did something special for the Christmas NICU babies this holiday season!! If anyone has any ideas of suggestions please let me know!
